Maybe it's because of how recent the Kingdoms of Harad expansion came out, but the Life on the Other Side quest is one of the most frustrating quests in it so far. The main issue is that as the quest progresses, some areas that were locked initially become unlocked, but you receive no warnings. This includes the Northern and Southern bed-chambers, and the central garden. However, you will not get any notifications of any newly opened areas, so it's up to you to figure it out, while you are not clear on what the map actually might look like.
