You are at a carnival, when you get drawn to the shooting gallery hosted by Dr. Quandary. He will challenge you to shoot at specific troggles. If you manage to hit enough of them, you will win the game.
However, as it turns out, the shooting gallery is nothing but an ordinary ruse by the Doctor, who trapped you within the body of one of the dolls you could select as a prize. You are transported to the doctors' secret island, and will have to find a number of ingredients in order to brew the Fixer Elixer which will allow you escape. You can find the ingredients by solving a variety of puzzles on the island.
The dolls represent the difficulty level (B. Ginner = Beginner. O.D. Nary = Ordinary. D. Feecult = Difficult), which will impact the difficulty level of the puzzles. The puzzles themselves range from the Tower Of Hanoi, or tangram games, to using a catapult to bring down a bug to feed a frog.
The puzzles are fairly straight-forward, but should be challenging enough for children. Should you fail a puzzle, you can always try again. After solving a puzzle, they can be replayed by using the same path as before. The NPC at the puzzle will prompt you whether or not you want to play again, skip ahead, or turn back.
